The Minister for Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning accepted that State Interests were integrated in the proposed scheme amendments and approved their adoption.

Second State Interest Review
The proposed amendments, now modified as a result of community submissions were returned to the State Government for a second review. Council looks forward to approval from the Planning Minister so the changes can be enacted in the first quarter of 2016.

Council resolved to proceed with amendments
Council considered the 60 submissions that were made on the draft planning scheme and resolved to make some modifications before proceeding with the amendments

Submissions must be lodged by this date however submissions lodged on the following week are likely to be considered in the process.

Proposed amendments are available to review online, at Council Chambers and in the libraries.

Council resolved to advertise proposed amendments to The Noosa Plan
Council considered changes made as a result of the State Interest Review and resolved to proceed to advertise the amendments for community feedback.

Council received State Interest sign-off
Council received advice from the Minister for Local Government & Planning that she was satisfied we could proceed to advertise the amendments as a draft.
