Preliminary work on the Noosa Social Strategy commenced late 2014. It is Councils intention to have a preliminary draft of the Noosa Social Strategy before Council for comment by September 2015. It is expected that after a period of community consultation the final document will be before Council for endorsement by December 2015, and that recommendations will inform the 2016/17 operational plan and budget process.

Not for Profit survey distributed
A survey will be sent to our not for profit organisations (who are on Council's database) to help identify existing services/community infrastructure, and gaps and duplication in services/infrastructure within the Noosa Shire.

Draft Social Strategy
It is Councils intention to have a preliminary draft of the Noosa Social Strategy before Council for comment by September 2015.
