Consultation has concluded

This consultation has now closed and the final delivery of the project is underway. Thank you for all your input which has helped shape this project for the community.

Council has developed a Noosa Parklands Park Management Plan in consultation with key stakeholders and the community. The Plan covers a number of Bushland Reserves and Recreation Parks in the Noosa Parklands area, including Heritage Park.

The Plan identifies the parks natural, cultural and recreational values, and measures to protect and enhance such values. Tree management, bushfire, flooding and mosquitos are also discussed in the Plan, as well as appropriate management

    Council formally adopted the Parklands Park Management Plan at its September 15, 2016 meeting. The plan has been developed by Ecosure in consultation with the community and Council thanks residents for their valuable input. The final plan can be viewed in the document library to the right of this screen, along with a summary of public submissions.

    Public consultation on the Noosa Parklands Draft Park Management Plan is now closed. Council would like to thank submitters for their comments.

    Submissions will be reviewed, considered in the plan,and recommendations will be made to Council to adopt the final Noosa Parkland Park Management Plan.
