This consultation has closed and the Plan has been adopted.

The Noosa Cycling and Walking Strategy and Implementation Plan (NCWSIP) will re-establish the vision for bike riding and walking across Noosa Shire for the next 20 years (2020 - 2040).
The draft NCWSIP aims to demonstrate Council’s direction and commitment to the vision of “More people riding a bike and walking for health, transport, tourism and the environment”. Our goal is to make riding a bike and walking so convenient and safe that it is the preferred mode of transport for our residents and visitors.

The strategy will guide Council's planning, development and promotion of bike riding and walking networks in the future. The plan covers both the active transport network for those commuting by bike or foot, and connections to the bushland trail network for those wanting to enjoy the great outdoors.

Community feedback on the draft Noosa Cycling and Walking Strategy and Implementation Plan is now closed.

We would like to thank the community for their participation and we look forward to seeing more people riding a bike and walking for health, transport, tourism and the environment.
