Noosa Botanic Gardens Master Plan
Consultation has concluded
The Noosa Botanic Gardens, on the shores of Lake MacDonald, is one of the Shire's hidden gems. It has been transformed from a derelict dumping ground to a picturesque parkland through the on-going partnership of many friends and volunteers.
As the Gardens approaches its 30th birthday, it is fitting to now look to the future .An online survey was the first step in the development of a Master Plan for the gardens.
See the document library to the right of this screen for a summary of the survey results.
Completed surveys were collected during February- March 2017 (the survey closed April 3rd) . A community workshop was held in May 2017.
The Botanic Gardens Master Plan is being developed in partnership with the community and will outline the vision for the next 5 years. These are exciting times for the Gardens.
The online surveys were available at libraries, Council offices and at the Botanic Gardens at Lake MacDonald.
Thank you for your participation in shaping the future of Noosa's Botanic Gardens. Please see the News section below for updates.
