Following extensive community consultation and engagement, two comprehensive State Government reviews and Ministerial approval, Council has adopted Amendment No. 2 to Noosa Plan 2020.

A report was submitted to the Planning and Environment Committee on 9 September 2025 seeking Council adoption of the amendment, which was approved at Council's Ordinary meeting on 18 September 2025 . The Amendment was subsequently gazetted and commenced on Friday 26 September 2025.
