This project has now closed. Following consultation and feedback from the community, the Final Master Plan was presented to Council and endorsed on 13 January 2020. Preliminary design has commenced for the Cooroy District Sports Complex with an Expression of Interest submitted for infrastructure works.

The Cooroy Sports Complex is located at Mary River Rd Cooroy and is home to:

  • Noosa District Rugby League Club
  • Cooroy Gymnastics Club
  • Cooroora United Football Club
  • Cooroy Eumundi Cricket Club
  • Cooroy Pony Club
  • Combined Coastal Car Club
  • Cooroy RV site

The aim of a Master Plan is to provide a long-term vision for the Complex, identifying what the site should look like and how it should function into the future. The master plan considers the next 10-year period from 2020-2030 and guides future sports infrastructure development and investment, both by Council and the clubs through grant applications or club capital investments.
